Q. 01. I have read that 'old' flashes are dangerous when used with new digital cameras. Is that true?

It is true. Most older flash units had a significant amount of electrical charge being transferred back into the camera. With film cameras this was not a problem but with digital cameras this is a problem. Over time, it can damage a digital camera.

Q. 02. Does Nissin make a flash unit campatible with the Canon 350?

Nissin has two (2) current models that will work with your camera and not harm it: the Di622 and the Di481. They soon will introduce the Di28. All of these flash units are fully dedicated to the Canon 350 and will not cause harm to the camera. Models prior to these would not be fully dedicated to the Canon 350.

Q. 03. What types of batteries does Nissin recommend?

Nickel dry (disposable), Alkaine dry cell (disposable), Lithium dry cell (disposable), and NiCD chargeable batteries.
